NEW Optilift
OptiLIFT, a new device from Lumenis, is receiving positive reviews for its ability to address lower eyelid laxity and improve blinking in patients with dry eye disease. Clinical studies have shown significant improvements in tear breakup time, lid laxity, and blinking quality after treatment with OptiLIFT. Patients are also reporting positive aesthetic outcomes, such as a more youthful appearance. Strengthening the muscle around the eye improves the lifting support system of the midface, which can create a cascade effect that softens lower facial sagging and wrinkles.
IPL/Optilight

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy is a non-invasive treatment that targets abnormal blood vessels, known as telangiectasias, within the skin. These tiny dilated vessels are a significant source of chronic inflammation, particularly around the eyelids and face. IPL delivers precise pulses of light energy that are absorbed by the hemoglobin in these vessels, causing them to coagulate and gradually be reabsorbed by the body. By reducing these inflammatory vessels, IPL helps decrease redness, calm irritation, and improve overall skin health. Patients often notice a clearer, more even complexion with fewer visible blood vessels, while also benefiting from reduced inflammation that can contribute to conditions such as rosacea and dry eye disease. The result is healthier-looking skin with improved tone, texture, and appearance.
